Women's
There are two women's lacrosse teams at Oxford, the Blues and the Swifts.
If you are interested in playing, get in touch with the Captains, Tilly Pearse and Josephine Hibou, by emailing:
The Women's Blues have been competing in BUCS for over a decade and have been particularly successful in recent years. In the 2022-23 season, the Blues finished 2nd in the Southern Premier League, and beat a strong Nottingham Trent side to progress from the quarter finals to the semi finals. The Blues also competed in the BUCS Lacrosse 6s Championship at the beginning of the 22/23 season, finishing in the top 4. In the 2025/26 season, the Blues again came 2nd in the Southern Premier League, storming to the National Quarter Finals.
The Swifts have been moving from strength to strength playing in the BUCS Midlands Tier 1 League. This year they finished 4th in their league, with excellent foundations to progress higher in the upcoming season after a large fresher intake.
2026 Varsity brought a massive double victory for both the Blues and the Swifts. Going into 2027, both teams look to defend their Varsity title, the Blues for the fourth year in a row.
