Men's

Welcome to Oxford Men's Lacrosse!
We have two men's teams, Blues and Owls. Whatever your level, there's a place for you here.
Blues
We field a strong Blues team, and had a successful last season. We came second in the BUCS Southern Premiership, reached the quarter-finals of the National Championships, and won the Blues Varsity match against Cambridge. Our Blues Varsity squad included a few players with international representation experience, and also a player who'd picked up a lacrosse stick for the very first time at our taster session at the start of that year. Quick progression for keen new players is very possible!
The Men's Blues receive Tier 2 support through the University's Blues Performance Scheme. This includes weekly team strength and conditioning sessions with a professional S&C coach, free access to Blues gym open sessions, bespoke performance nutrition support from the Blues Sports Nutritionist, performance psychology support, and subsidised physiotherapy.
Owls
New players get real game time from the start. We enter fixtures for the second team in the SEMLA league, and these are where our novice players get their first proper matches in low-stakes, supportive games for building confidence and match sharpness before stepping up to BUCS. The Owls also has a Varsity match, so many more new players have the opportunity to get involved with the biggest day of the lacrosse calendar.
And it's not all lacrosse! We run regular socials throughout the season: pub trips, team dinners, joint socials with women’s and mixed lacrosse, or other sports teams.
